After their purchase by strict correspondence, including research to commercial cookware dressed as Vollrath praise, I find the new Le Creuset cookware to be the richest available, hands down. The covers are thicker, the pot bodies are heavier, and the handles are more comfortable. These pots and pans to brands like All-Clad to shyness.
Yes, they are manufactured in China. Only the All-Clad, which is now their handles and lids offshore too (they do not intimate where) and Vollrath are made in the United States.All-Clad is not greater than Cuisinart (which would be my selection impaired, and much cheaper) or Calphalon, now abandoned, in the category of cooking utensils covered. And All-Clad is ridiculously expensive, which in my mind is totally unjustifiable, not to praise their handles are also uncomfortable because they disappoint a amount.
Had I not responsible for looking around I would go with Vollrath, but Le Creuset is very tension (for pots and pans). The new handles are thick and soft the clutch. Usage is up unassailable....

Amazon told me they would displace this set from their website until they could investigate the other boxes to find out if this was a widespread mess.
I have afterwards purchased additional Le Creuset frying pans and a saucepan from Williams-Sonoma and JC Penney, and all pieces were expert. I don’t differentiate if the Amazon sets were seconds or irregulars, but I would not buy this fussy set, again. If others have received this set and none of the enamel has chipped off, then perhaps the manufacturing prepare has been set.
