South Shore Seahawks battle in Lobster Pot Tourney

The South Shore Seahawks Mite C program made its annual spark off hallucinate to the Cape for the Lobster Pot tournament, with the Seahawks Flyers squad bringing shelter the trophy. The Seahawks Flyers opened the tournament against a speedy Duxbury Oilers span. The Flyers played great position and were very aggressive to the puck, which entirely created too much pressure for the Oilers.

Alex Christenson kicked off the Flyers scoring, determination the back of the net off a nice pass from Conor Spinale. This goal really sparked the Flyers, with Spinale scoring the next four goals off energetic passes and plays from his teammates. Christenson picked up his second objective of the game on a nice outlet pass from Tucker Kretschmer. Mac Maiellano kept the bring pressure to bear on on with an unassisted goal through the five hole. Jason Leroy closed out the scoring on a calamitous shot down low that beat the goalie stick side. The 8-0 win couldn’t have happened without the cat-like trifle with in goal from Matthew Seghezzi. Seghezzi shut down several Oilers breakaways and a barrage of shots down low.
