I need ideas for a full coarse meal that go with Chicken pot pie as the main dish?

Fun and memories were everywhere when we gathered for a “Mellowed Favorites” dinner Monday. The phrases “I recall when …” and “My Mother used to …” bounced off all the walls. So many fun dishes brought back tales of our pasts and we shared them all around.

After our established chardonnay sharing and greeting one another, we got to our seats in anticipation of a fun evening. It was a exclusive occasion to two couples celebrating anniversaries that night. I sat them at the same table.

The first assuredly was an assortment of appetizers. Look at this list: tomato aspic, stuffed celery, deviled egg, cucumber sandwich and radishes with chive butter. Wow, what a important plate.

The aspic was firm yet delicate. It tasted of layers of seasoning and lemon along with its tomato and veggie base. Set on a lettuce leaf and topped with homemade olive oil mayo, it was in reality good.
